Confidentiality

Your right to privacy and confidentiality are important to us. So are providing you with superior care and following laws to which we are subject.

All client communications and content of therapy sessions are held in the strictest confidence by our therapists and staff; however, our staff may be obligated by law to report certain client information to appropriate authorities. While our therapists prefer not to release or report information to authorities without a client’s knowledge or permission, there may be situations in which reporting of information occurs without the client’s involvement. Your therapist can answer any questions you have regarding this process.

In order to ensure that your sessions provide you with maximum benefit, and to provide your therapist with professional accountability, content of your therapy sessions may also be discussed with other therapists on staff at The Cabin. Extreme care is still exercised to preserve the highest level of client privacy.
