Kelly completed her Master’s degree in child and adolescent development at the University College London, England. She has worked in the counseling field for approximately twenty years with children, adolescents, and their families. She is a Counselor Intern with the State Licensure Board. Kelly’s experience spans working at a community mental health outpatient center and providing school-based counseling services. Her theoretical orientation is an integrative approach with a person-centered and cognitive-behavioral approach. She has experience in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy as well as motivational interviewing.

Kelly is passionate about working with children and teens struggling with anger management, anxiety, depression, coping skills, family systems, self-esteem, focus and control, trauma, and unsafe thoughts. She believes the counseling dynamic is built on rapport and trust and can therefore provide a space to address difficult reflections with vulnerability and in partnership towards meeting therapeutic goals.
