The Cabin’s Samaritan Fund provides financial assistance to over 120 individuals, couples, and families per year who would otherwise not be able to afford our services.
Qualification for a reduced fee under The Samaritan Fund is based on federal poverty guidelines developed and updated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The Samaritan Fund is utilized to cover the difference between the full fee and the qualified applicant’s sliding scale fee.
While recent economic conditions, job loss, and an absence of mental health insurance for many have produced an increased number of clients who rely upon The Samaritan Fund to cover a portion of the cost of our services, we have yet to turn away or restrict the number of sessions provided to qualified recipients. Your contribution to The Samaritan Fund will help ensure its continued availability to those in need and is a true investment in the lives of our clients.
The Cabin is a federally-registered 501 (c) 3 and all donations are tax-deductible. 100% of contributions designated to The Samaritan Fund go directly to programs and services utilized by Samaritan Fund recipients.
