Family relationships can be hard, even in the best of times. Throw in  divorce, in-laws, parenting issues, or poor communication, and those relationships are often unbearable. Family therapy creates a forum for all members of the family to be heard.  When dealing with families, no matter what the size, it is critical to identify alliances, cutoffs, and strengths.  With increased awareness of self and others, communication coaching, forgiveness, and learning to work as a team, families can begin to function positively such that each member of the team feels he/she is an integral part of the system.
