Strengths Coaching: What Can it do for Me?

Breakdown and Benefits of Strengths Coaching

“Most people think they know what they are good at. They are usually wrong. …And yet, a person can perform only from strength.”  -Business guru Peter Drucker

We all need a little help in discovering our greatest talents, and that’s where the Clifton StrengthsFinder comes in. This assessment is a tool used to crack open one’s awareness of their unique talents. It is grounded in over four decades of research and study by the Gallup Organization.

The strengths-based development approach is unique and powerful. A person’s most direct path to individual growth and improvement begins with a primary investment in his or her greatest talents.

Our talents are the keys to the areas that can be developed into strengths that allow us to provide consistent near-perfect performance (be the expert).

This is exciting and powerful stuff! The “best of the best” are always those who know and operate off their strengths instead of trying to remediate their weaknesses. You won’t believe how quickly this unleashes your potential and impacts all areas of your life!

So, what’s the process?

The way this works is this:

  • You take the 30 minute assessment to determine your top 5 talents,
  • You then meet with me, your coach, to gain a full understanding of your unique combination of strengths,
  • We make a plan for how you can best develop your strengths to improve your life satisfaction, engagement and performance!

Who Can Benefit the Most from Strengths Coaching?

Honestly, EVERYONE can benefit from Strengths Coaching, but those who are in transition may benefit the most. This includes high school and college students trying to figure out who they really are and what their future career should be, or the person who is seeking a more fulfilling career or has been forced to look into new career options for whatever reason. Managers and business teams have also recognized the power of strengths-based cultures. Employees learn how to maximize their individual and team talents to realize the greatest growth and productivity possible.

Learning to develop your talents into strengths impacts every area of life – your relationships, your personal and professional satisfaction and performance!
