Bailee holds a master’s degree in art therapy from IUPUI Indianapolis and is working towards licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Art Therapist. She focuses on the person and customizes the therapeutic experience for each individual. Her technique utilizes art and the creative process to foster exploration, awareness, and reconciliation. Her experience includes therapeutic interventions with individuals and groups with anxiety, depression, foster care, adoption, school-based issues, peer relationships, chronic illness/medical trauma, and self-esteem. Bailee works with art materials and gives art prompts to ease clients into hard conversations and work towards acceptance.
Her professional background includes psychotherapy in the school setting as well as art therapy in the hospital setting. She has clinical experience helping children and teens address challenges related to depression, anxiety, life changes, and emotional regulation. Bailee has a passion for the foster care system and adoption. Bailee believes integrating the creative process with mindfulness work and adventure therapy can help in the therapeutic process.
Bailee is newly married and excited to be in a new stage of life. In her free time, Bailee loves to explore different coffee shops in Indianapolis, read, travel, and scrapbook her adventures, big and small.
