Drew earned his Master’s degree in Counseling from Indiana University. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Indiana and a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
Drew believes therapy is a joint venture between the client and therapist and emphasizes the importance of building strong rapport throughout the therapeutic process. He believes everyone has the resources within themselves that aid and direct their journey towards growth and healing. He is currently training to become a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Drew believes the combination of talk therapy and personal training modalities can elicit alternative ways of processing one’s circumstances and increase their level of autonomy and self-determination.
Drew predominantly utilizes principles and techniques drawn from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-centered Therapy, Strengths-based Therapy and Family Systems Therapy. His experience includes therapeutic interventions for depression, anxiety, stress, marital/couples conflict, family conflict, peer relational issues, self-esteem, self-harm, suicidal ideation, trauma, sexuality, emotional regulation, coping skills, and ADHD.
