What It’s Like to Work With Me:
Therapy with me is compassionate, direct, and collaborative. I believe growth happens when we balance understanding the past with taking steps forward. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe exploring emotions, gaining practical coping skills, and challenging patterns that no longer serve you. Whether you’re working through trauma, struggling with relationships, or seeking to build healthier boundaries, I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs.
I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which is particularly effective for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and relationship challenges. I also integrate Brainspotting (Phases 1 & 2) for trauma processing, along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy to support lasting change.
Qualifications & Experience:
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2020 and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Indiana. My clinical experience includes individual and group therapy, addiction support, and working with individuals struggling with emotional dysregulation, codependency, and past trauma.
Outside of Therapy:
Creativity and connection are important parts of my life. I find solace in painting and artistic expression, and I love getting lost in a good book. I also enjoy spending time with my beloved cats, family, and friends, appreciating the small moments that bring joy and balance.
My Philosophy:
"Healing isn’t about changing who you are—it’s about learning to understand, accept, and grow into the person you’re meant to be."
