What It’s Like to Work With Me:
I provide non-judgmental, empathetic support while also challenging clients to take meaningful steps toward change. Therapy is a partnership, and I meet clients where they are, helping them build insight, develop coping skills, and move at a pace that feels right for them. My approach is collaborative, authentic, and focused on creating lasting change.
I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)with humanistic, person-centered principles to ensure therapy is both structured and deeply personal. I also incorporate Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing to provide practical tools for emotional regulation, self-reflection, and growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling from Ball State University and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Indiana. With over ten years of experience, I have worked in community mental health, school-based services, home-based therapy, and outpatient treatment, supporting individuals across various life challenges.
I integrate:
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help process and heal from past trauma
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge unhelpful thought patterns and build coping skills
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to improve emotional regulation and distress tolerance
Solution-Focused Therapy to create actionable steps toward change
Person-Centered & Humanistic Approaches to foster self-acceptance and growth
My Philosophy:
"Therapy is a space to feel understood, gain clarity, and take steps toward the life you want. Change is possible, and you don’t have to do it alone."
