Kelly Curry, LSW, is a compassionate therapist with a passion for helping individuals overcome trauma, anxiety, and depression. With a master's degree in social work from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts, Kelly brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice. What sets Kelly apart is her dedication to working with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as severe mental illness. Her experience at the Stars Program, which provides specialized services for this population, has shaped her understanding and approach to therapy.
Kelly's therapeutic style is rooted in a person-centered approach, where she tailors each session to the unique needs and goals of her clients. Drawing from a diverse range of therapeutic modalities, including metacognitive reflection and insight therapy (MERIT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), she creates a holistic and transformative healing experience. In addition to individual sessions, Kelly also facilitates support groups, including an autism support group, where individuals can find a sense of community and understanding. She incorporates mindfulness practices into her sessions, creating a safe and nurturing space for growth and self-discovery.
