What It’s Like to Work With Me:
I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood. My approach is warm, practical, and tailored to your needs—whether that means processing past experiences, building confidence, or developing new coping strategies. I meet clients where they are and help them move forward at a pace that feels right for them.
Qualifications & Training:
I earned my Master’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development from University College London, England, and have over 20 years of experience working with children, teens, and families. My background includes:
School-based counseling, working directly with students, parents, and educators
Community mental health, supporting children, teens, and adults facing emotional and behavioral challenges
Outpatient care, providing individualized therapy in a structured setting
I integrate a mix of evidence-based approaches based on what works best for each person, including:
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help process and heal past experiences
Solution-Focused Therapy to build on strengths and create actionable steps for change
Motivational Interviewing to encourage self-awareness and personal growth
I am currently in the process of transferring my licensure to Indiana and am practicing as an LMHC-Associate.
My Philosophy:
"Healing starts with feeling understood. My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself, explore your emotions, and build confidence in your own strength."
