I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. My goal is to help individuals develop healthy coping skills, build resilience, and cultivate a strong sense of self-worth as they work toward personal growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University Indianapolis and am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in Indiana. My background includes:
Providing individual and group therapy at an outpatient eating disorder facility for individuals struggling with disordered eating and mental health challenges.
Working in a mental health hospital, supporting clients with a variety of emotional and behavioral needs.
Serving as a school social worker, helping students navigate academic pressures, peer relationships, and emotional well-being.
These experiences have shaped my ability to connect with individuals in different settings, allowing me to meet clients where they are and provide the support they need.
Therapeutic Approach:
My approach is collaborative and individualized, using evidence-based techniques that align with each client’s unique goals. I incorporate:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients process emotions and take meaningful action in their lives.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns.
Mindfulness-Based Techniques to build self-awareness and emotional balance.
Therapy with me is not about "fixing" yourself—it's about gaining insight, developing self-compassion, and learning tools to navigate life’s ups and downs in a way that feels right for you.
Outside of Therapy:
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and family, exploring creative outlets, being outdoors, and going to sporting events. I also love mindful movement, reading a good book, and appreciating the small, meaningful moments of daily life.
My Philosophy:
"Therapy isn’t about being perfect—it’s about growth, self-discovery, and learning to trust yourself. No matter where you are in your journey, you deserve support, understanding, and the space to be heard."
