Specialty Areas:
I work with children, teens, and young adults facing:
Anxiety & depression
Relationship challenges & family dynamics
Life transitions & stress management
Trauma & emotional regulation
Parenting support & education
What It’s Like to Work With Me:
I believe therapy should be engaging, supportive, and empowering. Using a blend of play, art, and mindfulness-based techniques, I help children and teens express emotions, build confidence, and develop tools to manage life’s challenges. For young adults, I provide a space to explore identity, relationships, and personal growth.
As a mother of two young adults, I understand the complexities of parenting and offer guidance for parents looking to support their children in a way that fosters resilience and emotional well-being.
Qualifications & Experience:
I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from IUPUI and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Indiana. My clinical background includes working with children, adolescents, and families in both individual and group settings.
I use a holistic, evidence-based approach, integrating:
Play Therapy & Expressive Arts to help children process emotions nonverbally
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support trauma recovery
Internal Family Systems (IFS) to explore emotions and identity
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge negative thought patterns
Mindfulness-Based Techniques to develop self-awareness and stress management skills
My Philosophy:
"Every child, teen, and young adult has the ability to grow, heal, and thrive. With the right tools and support, they can move toward a life that feels more confident, meaningful, and authentic."
