Life can feel overwhelming at times, leaving us anxious, disconnected, or uncertain about the next step. My goal is to help you find clarity, regain balance, and create meaningful change in a way that feels right for you.
What It’s Like to Work With Me:
Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I take a holistic, customized approach, meeting clients where they are and building on their strengths to help them create lasting change. Whether you're working through past trauma, strengthening family relationships, or adjusting to a major life transition, I offer a non-judgmental, supportive space where you can explore challenges and develop tools for healing and growth.
I work with both individuals and families, helping them recognize and break self-defeating patterns, build healthier coping skills, and develop stronger relationships. My role is to empower you to navigate life’s difficulties with confidence.
Qualifications & Experience:
I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Indiana Wesleyan University and have experience working with adolescents and adults managing a wide range of emotional and relational challenges. My background includes:
Therapy for individuals, couples, and families addressing conflict, communication, and healing
Supporting clients with depression, anxiety, and trauma using evidence-based interventions
Helping individuals with substance use concerns develop healthier coping strategies
Providing guidance for families navigating grief, parenting struggles, and major life transitions
I use a flexible and client-centered approach, integrating:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to reframe unhelpful thoughts and behaviors
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to process past experiences and promote healing
Family Systems Therapy to explore relational patterns and improve communication
Strengths-Based Techniques to help individuals and families build on what’s already working
My Philosophy:
"Fear is a reaction; courage is a decision. Therapy is about choosing courage—taking that first step, facing challenges head-on, and building the strength to move forward."
