Stephen is in training to become a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) for the treatment of sexually compulsive and addictive behavior. Stephen also has specialized training in treatment for adults in parent-enmeshed relationships.
Stephen has worked with individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and OCD. He uses many interventions including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Adventure Therapy. Stephen is able to incorporate faith-based perspectives in therapy.
Stephen completed his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Ball State University after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Anderson University. He has provided clinical services to a wide range of ages and backgrounds in a community mental health agency, a university counseling center, and a men’s prison.
