What It’s Like to Work With Me:
Therapy should be a place where you feel supported, challenged, and equipped to create real change. I take a direct yet compassionate approach, helping clients explore the root causes of their struggles while developing practical strategies to move forward. Whether working through addiction, trauma, or relational challenges, my goal is to provide a structured, nonjudgmental space for healing and personal growth.
I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Adventure Therapy, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique experiences. I also incorporate faith-based perspectives for those who seek spiritual integration in therapy.
Qualifications & Experience:
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ball State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Anderson University. My clinical experience includes working in:
Community mental health, supporting individuals across diverse backgrounds
A university counseling center, working with young adults navigating identity and emotional challenges
A men’s prison, providing therapy in high-need settings
I am currently training to become a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) to specialize in treating sexually compulsive and addictive behaviors.
My Philosophy:
"Growth comes from stepping into discomfort, challenging old patterns, and building a life that aligns with your values."
