What It’s Like to Work With Me:

I believe therapy is a space for self-discovery, growth, and lasting transformation. With over 20 years of experience working in the field of autism, I bring a deep understanding of behavioral patterns and interpersonal dynamics into my work with individuals, families, and couples. Whether helping a child process emotions through play therapy, guiding couples through relational challenges, or supporting individuals in overcoming obstacles, I tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs.

I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients can gain insight, recognize their strengths, and develop tools for a more fulfilling life.

Qualifications & Training:

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, IN, and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) working under supervision toward full licensure. My background includes:

  • 20+ years in the field of autism, with expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA Therapy)

  • Experience in play therapy (ages 4+), using creative approaches to help children process emotions

  • Training in Gottman Couples Therapy (Levels I & II) to support couples in strengthening connection and communication

I integrate a variety of evidence-based approaches, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help reframe thoughts and develop coping strategies

  • Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) to support trauma recovery

  • Play Therapy to engage children in therapeutic expression and emotional processing

My Philosophy:

"Every person holds a unique brilliance—therapy is about uncovering it, embracing it, and letting it shine."
